Handstitched in America: Celebrating the Craftsmanship and Community of Bella Notte Linens

During the 4th of July holiday, as Americans come together to celebrate their shared values and history, we at Bella Notte Linens pause to reflect on our own commitment to local craftsmanship and community. Since our founding in 1996, we have remained steadfast in our dedication to producing exquisite couture bedding, handstitched and custom dyed in Northern California.

As a small, family owned and operated business, we understand the importance of supporting our dedicated workers and local businesses; that's why we have chosen to keep our manufacturing process close to home. Our local team of associates, many of whom have been with us for decades, are the heart and soul of Bella Notte. Their passion and expertise are woven into every stitch, ensuring that each piece we create is a work of art.

Our small-batch manufacturing process is a labor of love. Each product is made by hand, down to every embellishment. Through this approach, in addition to producing high-quality products for our customers, we live out our values of being stewards of the planet, the people who make our products and the families who sleep in them. We are proud to use low-impact dyes on every custom piece, dyes that we are comfortable with our own family sleeping in. Say goodbye to the hassle and harsh chemicals of dry cleaning; all of our couture textiles are washable at home, even our silks and velvets – at Bella Notte, the luxury and convenience that our customers crave go hand in hand.

Our commitment to local craftsmanship and community extends beyond our own doors. We have nurtured long standing relationships with the same dye house, also family owned and operated, and many local businesses for over two decades. By supporting these local businesses, we contribute to the thriving ecosystem of creativity and collaboration that is vital to our community and country’s fabric.

Unlike many companies that rely on distant and complex supply chains, our dye house is located just down the street from where we cut, sew and produce our linens. This level of proximity and collaboration is nearly unheard of in today's world, allowing us to maintain a level of quality and attention to detail that is second to none.

With every purchase from Bella Notte Linens, you not only bring luxury and beauty into your home, but you also support the dedication and skill of Bella Notte workers. Together, we can make a difference and build a future where quality, sustainability, and community are at the heart of everything we do.
