January 5, 2022 (Novato, California) ...Bella Notte, America's original brand of home washable luxury artisan bed linens, is pleased to introduce the Bria collection, created from 600 thread count cotton sateen. The collection includes classic fitted sheets, flat sheets and pillowcases, in various sizes. The textiles was chosen for its supple drape and ability to absorb Bella Notte's hand-mixed dyes, creating a luminous palette of 18 saturated colors.
Mitchell Gately, Bella Notte's CEO, explains the inspiration for Bria, "Cotton sateen has always been a favorite fabric of mine because it's effortless without being austere. We spent a year developing sheeting that would complement our elegant silk, linen and Tencel™ collections. With a generous thread count of 600, we found this weave to be especially receptive to our dye process, producing a radiant finish."
In 1996 Bella Notte became the first machine washable couture bedding for everyday living. This year marks their 26th year of producing heirloom quality artisan products, all designed, cut and sewn, and dyed in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Bella Notte honors their commitment to conscious luxury by using low-impact dyes and dyeing to order at a local artisanal dye house. This small batch, hand-crafted process results in slight tonal variations, creating one-of-a-kind linens.
