Season of Giving

It’s been two years since the tragic loss of lives, homes and land in the North Bay Fires, and a year since the most devastating wildfire in California history. The last few weeks have been uncertain and somber for our beloved community, as we face yet another season of wildfires. Bella Notte has been artisan crafted and dyed to order in the Bay Area since 1996. We are deeply committed to our community; from the makers who create our products, to the families who sleep in them.

We often talk about the bed as your place of sanctuary, focusing on the optimal design, materials and soothing colors for your best sleep. For these families, building a luxe space has been the least of their worries. When we donated over $165,000 in 2017 of products to organizations distributing supplies to families, recipients were grateful and delighted we made temporary housing feel more like a home. But we knew this was only a tiny step on their road to recovery.

Many insurance payments that have supported temporary housing and recovery were set to expire last month, despite many families still rebuilding or just breaking ground on their new homes. We donated $6,000 from sales to Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino County Recovery Funds this time last year to continue raising awareness. But the call to support these families continues!

This year our goal is to donate 300 products to families still in recovery.

For every webshop purchase made this holiday season (starting Black Friday), we will donate a Bella Notte product in the New Year to an organization dedicated to the continued support of these families.

We appreciate your partnership in this effort and will keep you up to date as we reach our 2019 Season of Giving goal!

Warmly,

The Bella Notte Family
